    ... Bright Angel trail entrance to see the daily Muel riders start their way down the tiny path winding its way down the cliffs into the canyon base. It takes 3-4 hrs and they will them spend the night and take the trek back up on their Muels the next day. This apparently costs $500 each person, and you have to book 1 year ahead to get a ride. We have definitely added this to the bucket list! We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the deck of the El Tovar, and taking in the canyon panorama on ...

    I don't know if I believe in omens. I want to, but it seems unreasonable to believe that a random happening is a sign that is giving guidance,or telling you what the smart thing is to do.     ... our since we lived in California from 1969 - 1972. This is where we will be staying for the 10 days here in the L.A. area. While here I worked for the Lakers/Kings operation while Jack Kent Cooke was running it! Lots of fun memories of those days long gone by!
