... The McDonald's in Savannah, Tennessee was our stopping point for me to blog and Bud to nap. Pizza from Dominoes was a quick dinner for this day on the road and we finally stopped in Lawrenceburg in the empty parking lot of a Walmart. Up to this point it had been an unremarkable day. Where we parked, there was not a single car around. There were a few tractor trailers parked for the night a ways across ...

We also received another pin for the most successful mission; although my husband & son were killed in space, we still managed to open & close the payload doors, take off & land successfully & of course have the best Darth Vader impersonations over the speakers prior to Jordan dying in space. After graduation we did the Apache Helicopter & the Mars Mission simulators before sneaking ...

We got to do some science experiments - well I did. Jase was answering all sorts of questions about Australia & ...

Our first full day & I take them across state lines into Tennessee - straight to Jack Daniels Distillery!! There must've been a corvette convention in town as there were at least 20 in the parking lot! We felt the bittersweet taste of having a dream ripped out from under us! They were having a sampling tour for only $10 per person, but alas we couldn't sample as our little cherub was under 21. Sigh. So we took the free non-sampling tour ...

Something is Fishy at Logan Lake!!

Who likes to fish? We certainly enjoyed fishing with my sister, Dena and brother-in-law John. Of course riding on the pontoon was not complete without Smokey (their dog). The weather was still a bit hot for the big fish but we caught a lot of fun size bass that wanted to fight their way off your hook. Not only did we fish but Galen and John was very busy building some wooden fences to add to the enjoyment of their lake house. We ventured off one night to dance hall, Briar ...
