... to stay a couple of days in Franklin Ten-oh see, but couldn't find a campground in that town. So I zipped right on thru. My wife Mary and I stayed there back in 87 and I wanted to see how much it changed. A lot I bet. Maybe on another trip. Son of a gun, as soon as I got out of Nashville don't ya know it started to rain. Oh well the windshield wipers work just fine and the rig is watertight.

Reading, napping, eating – what a ...

The weather was still a bit hot for the big fish but we caught a lot of fun size bass that wanted to fight their way off your hook. Not only did we fish but Galen and John was very busy building some wooden fences to add to the enjoyment of their lake house. We ventured off one night to dance hall, Briar ...

... We left Dunlap to an extremely difficult climb 3mi into the day. We climbed 1,800ft in 3 mi... Remember 1,000 ft in 10mi is considered difficult. I also experienced my first fall - fell on my side in slow motion and slammed my wrist, but totally fine. We were reading a chalked message and just lost my balance. Going up these ridiculously steep climbs actually help give me a lot of perspective on what is important and what I should focus on. I am stealing a ...
