After a evening and night of thunderstorms and rain, we departed Basswood RV Resort mid morning and arrived at the Cottonwoods RV Park north of Columbus, MO a little after noon. Today we rode south to avoid riding into the wind which would add a few miles but it was worth it to go through Jefferson City. It's the most interesting town we have been in the entire trip because of the history of it and all of it's historical buildings and landmarks.
