... drinking yet! ( it is about 11am at this stage). At the next winery Wilson's Creek we started to eat the bread which was so delicious, before sampling the wine. Although before this we did have a chocolate cup filled with port and almond champagne...what a lovely combination, it went down very nicely. We then started to sample the various wines going from white to red. Al recommended some and so did the bar tenders who were so knowledgeable. We ...

... to see the manzanitas, junipers, and now even the piñon pine. Lilia and I kept frog leaping each other. I am faster than her, but i kept stopping to take pictures. She is slow but pushes on steady. Hot Sauce, Green Man, and Taxi eventually passed us up. Have you ever experienced the animals and plants in the middle of the dessert? Well, Joshia Tree Park is the perfect place to go to experience nature. I sort of got bored of staying on the trail so I went of path and started jumping from rock to rock witch was sort of like a sport because it helped me get creative. I then found a hole so I crawled in and my Dad took a picture for ...

Plans for the day are pretty minimal......fill the cupboards, find a chiropractor for Dianne's aching back, a doggie daycare for Jake and begin to familiaize ourselves wih Palm Springs. Breakfast at our Extended Stay America followed by a trip to the Vistor Centre for brochures and advice. Success across the board! An afternoon appointment with ...

        Finally California

Vaya Con Dios, Arizona. Hola, California. I did manage to get a short ride in this morning before I got on the road for California. A good day of driving and with the time change to Pacific time, I was able to make it past Palm Springs before stopping for the night. I will try to make my son's house tomorrow, if the weather permits. Supposed to rain tonight, so I don't plan on riding in the morning.
