When we left Crystal Beach, we drove through Houston and got a feel for why it always comes up on the worst traffic city list. There isn't much more to say about it.
Now it was time to head deeper into Texas and spend a week at Canyon Lake, situated right between Austin and San Antonio. This would be our jumping off point to explore both of these cities.
