    Sa***************ed north to Virginia for a beautiful spring hike through James River Face Wilderness in Jefferson National Forest. We left Chapel Hill a little after 7 and headed north into Virginia. After making a pit stop in Lynchburg, we headed north on US-501 into the forest and drove to the Hellgate Horse Camp off Forest Service Road 815.     Tuesday morning, we woke up to very cold temperatures, but at least the snow had stopped. We checked out of the hotel and returned our ski gear to Ski Barn and then started making our way home. But we didn’t head straight home; with all the recent snow, we were going to see some more frozen waterfalls!
