... other hand will be busy. Mary and I will be testing our golf skills at TPC San Antonio, home course to the Texas Open. I'm not sure what we've gotten ourselves into but I'll be taking lots of pictures. Hopefully we will represent golf in The Villages well but no matter how we play, I'm sure we'll come home with some good golf stories.

That's all for now, stay tuned.

    Take care all.

Pizza lunch ...

... A friendly, efficient Indian fellow checked us in and pointed the way to 318. The room was standard bill o'fare but reeked of an unfortunate citrus-based deoderiser similar to the type used liberally and to minimal effect on commodes and the preparation wards of morgues. We abandoned our bags to it and fled back to the RV to rejoin the 405 and get to Carson before the shop closed. We had an hour. If we missed the deadline it meant returning the RV at 9am the day we flew ...

... the item on the receipt was not the Magellan GPS, but she didn't really know what it was. Finally she told me I just had to find the other receipt. After hanging up with Lynne, flow of the CW clerks and I were talking and I mentioned that it seemed they had changed the computer system and that was part of the problem. Well, yes they had changed computer systems about 18 months ago. So they went back into their records from the old system and there it was in Aug 2011, the ...
