    ... than I expected. My corn tortillas rolled up around shredded chicken with cooked carrots, sliced cooked potatoes covered in a deadly delicious mole sauce...what can I say...I'm Mexican,grew up on this stuff,I'm sixty five so my mom hasn't been around to cook this for a very long time, I closed my eyes and just enjoyed! The company of my daughter, great ambience , better food and a waiter that never failed in anything,,,I'll definitely be back! Very good choice mija,love ...

    6th-7th August Not a great deal to talk about after yesterday as it was a driving day, we drove from New Mexico into Texas, and drove down to San Antonio, a fairly uneventful drive. When we arrived we put up tents and then most people went to enjoy the pool, which was lovely. I have decided I don't know how people survive here, the humidity and the heat are unbelievable!     ... bus. It was sooo frustrating because we only had a couple of hours to go! We actually feel we coped quite well with the situation though, managing to have a bit of a laugh about it and passing the time with snacks from the shop. We waited 5 hours all up for the replacement bus! Then still had the 2 hours left of the drive to go. BUT we know it could have been worse because if we'd broken down an hour earlier we would have been stuck in the middle of no where! ...

    ... to have been born in NYC!! Though they both loved the Round Rock donuts for breakfast!!
    Very much looking forward to spending Thanksgiving with friends in San Antonio.. love the idea behind this celebration, the simplicity of being thankful for so much that we are blessed with and thoughts for those less fortunate.
    We are staying at a stunning resort hotel in San Antonio - so off to explore the grounds..
