With chocolate in hand we heads for the exit gates and walked the now familiar path back to our hotel. Dad went across to the Pharmacy to get some cold Tablets, before making into back to the Hotel. We then ventured up to Santa Barbara, with a quick (6 hours) stop at the outlet mall and then on to Pismo Beach to see Sally and Kirra (Jay’s sister and niece).

We spent some time enjoying the famous Pismo Sand Dunes and being amazed by the size of the USA 4WD and Motor homes, especially the ones on the beach, they are HUGE! We ...

... only 300g, but as we had 3 other bags under it was no problem.

Next was trying to find where you go through to the gates. We found it and were first 'inspected' by Customs who are the most friendly (NOT!) of people and then there was security! Talk about like being 'striped searched'!! We had to put all our hand luggage on trays to go through the x-ray machine, but also our shoes, coats, sweatshirts/hoodies, empty all pockets and even belts to be ...
