    Nachdems gescht Zobe gwitteret het hani ghofft, dass es hüt schönner blybt, damit i dr Lake Tahoe richtig kann gniesse. Am Morge ischs au no schön gsy, biz kalt (nur so 25Grad) abr schön.

    ... fun. After tea me, Emily, Sofia, Betina, Joe, Ros and Hikarou headed to the beach to crack the Asti open, stare and the stars and have a laugh. Was lovely, although we could see the wild fire clearly from the beach which was upsetting. I had an amazing day topped off by an a amazing evening it was time it hit the sack. Another little surprise was waiting for me in the tent...balloons..so cute and fun :) Loved my day so fun ...

    ... in the tent out of suitcases and backpacks (which actually worked!). All got freshened up and wandered down to the lake, water was pretty brown so I didn't venture in but the scenery was amazing and watched various water sports in action (and what we believe to be Ellen Degeneres hosting the National PaddleBpard championships!!). I now desperately want to try paddleboarding so might have to give it a go in San Diego as we have a bit of spare time!! Drove over the border into ...

    ... Clarkson, WA with me. David is also 70 years old and by his own admission this is the trip of a lifetime for him. He is starting in St. Louis at the beginning of the L.& C Trail and hoping to meet up with me at Great Falls. At this date he is in St Louis waiting for it to stop raining so he can start the 2000 mile trip to where l will be. With about a month before I leave for Montana I'm starting to feel a little anxiety over not training as hard as I should ...

    ... a-brac. You almost expected John Wayne to swagger down Main Street, Colt 45 in hand. I loved it! We also had a tour of the mill, where some of the machinery and equipment were still there. The drive back was quick. I decided not to pick up the hitched with two dogs and a parrot, though it might have made for interesting conversation. Had a bargain burger in the nearby sports ...
