      We r settled at a nice campground in So. Lake Tahoe, Ca. this evening. We will stay here until Thursday . It is a nice rest from all of the driving. It was quite a challenge for this "gas" fired motorhome to climb to 7,000 ft el. this afternoon, but we made it.       • today I got to see how people in Truckee celebrate the 4th of July. It was a blast! the parade was very impressive with the high school marching band and the floats from the sorts of different clubs or programs form the town. I found out afterword's that there is a big grand prize for whoever wins.

      ... gondola just in time! It was a long day skiing but well worth it! The RV park had an indoor spa and pool so we soaked away the aches and decided to move on and see what Tahoe had to offer.
