Today our group got to spend a full day at Universal / Islands of Adventure and boy did they soak in as much as they possibly could. I unfortunately was back under the covers at the hotel as my head cold came out full force. After a 8;30am start, some of the group didn't return until after midnight! Huge amounts of fun was had with highlights being the hogwarts express train which links ...

One of the final rides of the day was Disaster. There's a great cameo from Christopher Walken which I won't spoil, but it's always amusing. Terminator 2 3D was as cheese fun as ever. ... drip water. One ten by ten section of the Queen’s Room is blocked off with plastic as they work to fix the pipes and clean the carpet. Still, she delivers us to ports safely and mostly on time. However, she rolls with the waves on calm days and bobs like a cork on rough days. Her design, while functional, is not as intuitive as the QM2. The dearth of interesting activities and movies disappoints us. The evening performances ...

... of the trip. It was hot out and we needed a break, so we took a seat in Frontierland and watched some fun birds. After that, we decided to go back to the front of the castle to see how filming was going. Some guy was doing a pretty decent rendition of Rockin Around the Christmas Tree. Then he went into his hit song of the moment, which sounded familiar. This is where our age might be showing some. All of the younger people ...
