... Washakie to visit the Sacagewia cemetery. The children remembered learning about her travels with Lewis and Clark in the 5th grade so we thought it was an important stop. When we get past the I-80/84 split we have the Red Rocks on one side and the rolling green hills on the other, it is so different. As we travel into Wyoming we get a dryer soil with sagebrush and the mountains aren't as tall, I guess because we are already higher in altitude.
