- Last night I didn't get much sleep at all. The seat was so hard.
- Got up around 7am and had some granola bars and apple juice.
- Have to gas up this morning and get fresh ice for the ice chest.
- Paid almost $32.24 for gas.
- Also bought ice for $7.50
... stars on my camera, but its not hard to believe that they were spectacular in the isolated area we were staying in.
I even put up little lanterns which was met with much eye rolling from Ben, but I think they were pretty.
The next morning we woke up at sunrise and watched it come up, which was pretty spectacular. However after I had captured this we went back to sleep for a spell before packing up and setting off again.

... had to stop and ask for more directions at Marposa, only to be told "Those GPS things just don't work up here in the mountains!" Now we can blame the Navman *****. We also noticed that Triangle Road just goes up into the mountains and comes back out onto the highway about 20 miles further up.
