... facility turned up in his truck and forced Steve to delete all the pics.. We obviously hit the ignorant tourist button but at least we still have the camera and Steve will not spend the rest of the holiday as a drug dealers *****. We then went to Tutweiler where, legend has it, WC Handy heard a rural itinerant play the Blues and then adopted the rhythms for his own compositions. The station is no longer there but the old line still goes through the one horse town ...

... stop was at our motel for the evening, the Hampton Inn in Greenwood. Tomorrow we hit Memphis. Since it was so early, we got directions to the Mississippi Delta Museum which turned out to be right across the Highway. This local museum was ok, told the history of the region, has copious examples of early indian pottery, arrowheads, etc. Had a wildlife exhibit, local art work, and history of what was happening in the area during the Civil War ...
