    ... Jocelyn actually invited us to stay in their house when we return back to Perth. What struck me most about this gesture was that this couple had only met us the night before and here they were offering us free accommodation in their home. We took their contact details and told them how grateful we were.     ... clearly suffering but I was ok! A miracle & on top of that we saw 8-10 humpback whales including a couple of mums with their calves. Lots of dolphins too! We saw a black footed albatross which we were told was rare bird to see. We enjoyed strolling around Cannery Row again the vibe was great and not over crowded at all. An added bonus & highlight was in the evening we meet up with the lovely family we first met on the boat to Alcatraz we had a fab time ...

    We got off to an early start and headed down to Highway 1 to Salinas and then Laguna Seca to go to the World Superbikes Championship. Eugene Laverty..an Irish guy ..Aprillia team won the race. He was in a pack of 4 riders from the start...but one unfortunate rider who was in the lead for some time fell off his bike ..got back on ...way behind everyone ..but caught up and only finished 4th last ..he was the fastest on track ...
