Dad drove us to Monterey Bay, it took about 2 hours and was on a freeway most of the way. Dad had to drive on the right side of the road he did a good job. In Monterey we had lunch then went to the Monterey Aquarium the best things there were the Hammerhead Sharks and the Giant Tuna. I am very tired tonight so we ...

After a long drive up the Big Sur we got into Monterey late to find accommodation fully booked. It was Columbus Day long weekend, and we found Monterey was where Californians like to go on holiday! We finally found a little motel in Pacific Grove, about 10 mins down the road.
The next day we took the boys to the Aquarium, where Fed and Amadeo were fascinated by the large octopus, and Arrigo loved the wave room, where you sat in a glass panelled room and a wave ...
