... so, on this trip we were just trying to make miles. In the last hour of the trip today we stopped twice, just to get out of the car and move a little.

We arrived at our hotel and decided to just stay there for dinner -- there was a Denny's right in front of it. The food was surprisingly good. After dinner we took a little drive to Walmart and a liquor store for supplies and then called it a night early.

... back an hour, and Bo agreed that this would be worthy time spent, after all it is a burger joint. So off we were to find a bank and get some burgers. The visit at the TD in Yarmouth was eventful, turns out my account had become inactive as I haven't used it in a while so the branch or store manager as they call them in the U.S. was able to help me get it reset and print me a new debit card... ... a vacation without some bumps and bruises? With Alex on the camera down the rocks I go, dunking the front of the kayak as I enter the water. What a rush that little hill provided. Next stop, a waterfall. All in all, this was an awesome experience, with Alex and I no longer planning on rafting again. We are now kayakers. I had 2 dunkings on the trip down and Alex the one. What an experience.

... we felt like we had no control over what was going to happen next. Today we went mountain biking at the Bousquet Ski area. During the summer, the local ski areas provider more summer appropriate activity. Here we were able to play on the newly developed down hill mountain biking course that opened for the first time this year. Basically, you are able to ride a lift up the mountain, with your bike ...

    James Taylor and Fireworks

... certain songs were "morning songs." We have a tendency to play a lot of James Taylor while enjoying coffee on weekend mornings...

Getting out of the parking lot was a bit of a challenge as at least one car apparently got stuck in the muddy conditions and blocked many of us in. An hour later we escaped the field and made our way towards West Springfield and its supercharger as well as our hotel.

Of course, the fireworks were a nice distraction!
