    ... presented me with an option to immediately re-enter the USA at the northwest corner of Washington state, or continue further on the Canada side back to Creston (through which I had passed on my way to the ferry yesterday) where the border crossing is at the north end of Idaho. Since I was heading for Idaho for the night, I chose the latter crossing.

    Before reaching it, though, I got a nice surprise along that route…it climbs to high altitudes ...
