Once over Gold Summit, we dropped down to the St Joe river, where we had a wet, but very enjoyable ride into Couer d’Alene. For some reason (I guess we looked like we were smuggling in something illegal!) we were detained by Homeland Security, and they had to search our car. They let us go after telling us they could have fined us $300 for ...

... level. Arriving into CDA the sight of CDA lake was impressive. I treated myself to nice digs at the CDA resort right on CDA Lake. It came highly recommended by many including Kris and Tracy who stayed there years ago. Dinner was at the Iron Horse Biker bar where I was welcomed as the new guy from Florida.

Heading off to Seattle today. Its cold and rainy so its time to suit up.
