I haven't told you about my last couple of days in the beautiful Portland yet. So Sharon took me hiking in Columbia Gorge. It was stunning... so many waterfalls! We went behind one of them too (there is a picture of me there on Sharon's phone so I'll update this with that in the near future). Late last year we gave Zoe a list of about 20 such trips that we thought she might like. She picked this one: "Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and the Badlands: Young Explorers". We will visit all of these attractions and a few more, plus go looking for bison, riding horses, riding an alpine slide, panning for gold, digging for fossils, fishing and playing at a water park. It should be quite an adventure.

... in. 2 things unrelated to Seattle happened during the week that make me wonder if the whole thing has been a weird dream. First, I had a cold so took some NyQuil, which knocked me out for 6 hours straight in the middle of the day.
