Carol got a piece of strawberry cheesecake to go for dessert. I later went over to a Biggby Coffee for my dessert . . . and in the process spotted a Tim Horton's!! Guess Carol will get breakfast in the morning . . . even if she sleeps in past the Hampton Inn complementary breakfast!!
We both relaxed and read into late evening . . . and turned in. Good night!!
... Bill to the 1st floor Rehabilitation Ward into a room shared with another patient who also had brain surgery. He had his 1st Physical Therapy (PT) on Tuesday. Two hours of PT and one hour of Speech/Cognitive Therapy (ST) in the morning, followed by another hour of PT and one hour of Occupational Therapy (OT) in the afternoon. OMG! Bill has had rough days since his brain tumor was removed this past Wednesday. He was released from ICU later on Thursday and relocated to a regular hospital room. Yesterday, they moved him into another room where he is next to the window with a view. He shares the room with another patient. They have removed his bandages and some of the staples where the temporary head braces were drilled into his skull during surgery. He looks much better cleaned up. He ...
Bill & I had a great time at dinner with Bill's family at Pearl's last evening. We were served by our favorite waitress Jen. Bill had his favorite Rib Eye steak and savored every bite. After dinner, he MADE me drive him to Village Market to pick up his favorite Dove chocolate-chocolate bars. He ate two and I ate one bar. Yum!

... the larger tumor, followed by radiation at that site and on the smaller tumor. We have made the tough decisions. We meet with the Neurosurgeon tomorrow morning. Surgery is scheduled for Wednesday, August 6th. We are overwhelmed beyond words. Thank you for all of your love, support, thoughts & prayers. We really need and appreciate it. We are living in the moment and trying to stay strong.
