... a change! Good morning San Francisco and hello free bagels in the hostel kitchen! We used the free bagels for our lunch but we also had them for breakfast. It was definitely a bread overload kind of day. It was our second day in the beautiful city and we were uber excited for Alcatraz. Alcatraz is a famous island which was once used as a prison for America's most notorious criminals in the sixties era. We had to make our way to pier thirty three near fisherman's wharf and that ...

We arrived late into our cabin resort in the forest and were ...

... had lunch yet! Kate drove us over to the old hippy part of town. I'm not sure that Haight-Ashbury intended for a Ben & Jerry's, even if it does say 'Peace, Love & Ice cream' on the sign! Went to a new-ish old school soda shop for root beer floats & other crazy drink combos. I think the kids achieved ADHD status with the sugar rush. Back home - we got homey again. I chopped lots of vegies for a soup, roast chicken & veg - real food two days in a ...

Embarking on Tule Elk Discovery Hike at Pt. Reyes Nat'l Seashore early in the morning during Labor Day Weekend. It's so wonderful now the boys are old enough that we can take on those family adventures that fullfill my fancy.

Driving past Samuel Taylor Park, the beautiful redwood reminded me the fun-filled camping trip Alex, Curtis, and I took while Felix was away in Disneyland with school orchestra.

    Past Samuel ...
