... information and well as having a never ending supply of stories. We walked for about 3 hours through some fantastic forest areas, avoiding most of the tourist trails, had a picnic lunch amongst the trees and had a fantastic time. Tom later drove us to Sausalito ferry for our trip back over the bay.

We hope you enjoy our San Francisco journey. Really nice city and we had a great time.

    Cheers for now

The next morning we headed to Alcatraz – tickets sell out quite far in advance so we couldn’t get any tickets the first time in San Fran when we were there back in June so we had made sure to book some for this return visit.

As we had a late flight ( Check in at 6.30pm ) we were keeping one of the rooms so we could freshen up before departure. Myra & Rose picked us up at 10am to head over to Oakland. This time going over the new Oakland Bridge, which we had seen all lit up the previous night. Oakland (chk) was a neat town it seemed classic American - wide streets, houses with yards, clean and tidy.
After sone successful shopping by all four ladies it was time to head for ...
