... our jammies - we stopped at the Silver Lake Sand Dune State Park and rode a big butt dune buggy over the dunes for about an hour. It was great fun and the whole car got a kick out of the 2 "Red Hat Ladies" trying to climb in and out of the darn thing. Glad we only stopped a couple of times, I couldn't have climbed in and out many more times.
ANOTHER EARLY START TOMORROW - we catch the ferry from Muskegon to Milwaukee tomorrow morning.

So we had a departure delay from Denver today - a mechanical issue on our plane & we had to wait for the repair, then wait for it to arrive. Wasn't a bad wait & seemed to pass quickly. Besides, we were willing to wait for a happy plane! The flight was easy, just bumpy through the clouds during ascent & descent. I'm all for artist integrity and mixing it up every now and again, but his ups were ...

... family. On the other way, out of town, Evan was dancing too hard and jumped up on a cement block while dancing, and kind of missed and slammed his shin and knee into it. He doesn't do himself many favors when it comes to combatting what people say about him being "as dense as the cake." Next in this comedy of errors, my flip flop that I've had since the 8th grade finally broke. RIP to the best pair of shoes I've ever had. Those $5 Walmart flip flops ...

... very minimal set up much better as they showed us what people mean by southern hospitality. The music was really enjoyable and not knowing many of the bands we were able to just 'follow our ears' around what was a fantastically planned festival- the 'electric forest' itself was amazing. At night it became vibrantly littered with colours and in the day it provided much needed shade as we crumbled under the Michigan heat- we literally had to ...
