There are also a lot of little communities all over. Pods of houses scattered around, and some really nice "I hate you rich people" houses up on mountains and stuff.
After a couple of hours, we finally got to Columbia Falls and our first hotel for the trip. The Western Inn right on the edge of Glacier Park (you can see my thoughts on the hotel in tomorrows blog).

... anyway because although my bike is a cross country bike, at least it is full suspension. Tristan's bike is a rigid rear so his bike skips and shudders the entire way down. The terrain was rocky and rutted, making it difficult to keep tires in contact with the soil. The feeling was similar to when I lost my car in Brisbane. I found out where my car was, but I still had to wait a day to get it and see if it was ok.
