As well as making coins the mint also makes commemorative coins and medals, both military and for special awards. ... travelled back to that garden to see it overflowing with green plants! There was still work to be done – we mulched pathways, planted more flowers and thinned out the corn that was growing thick and green – but to see such a project from start to "finish" with an enthusiastic community support infused us with the greatest feeling of accomplishment.
