Today is a lot brighter the clouds have lifted and the sun is shining so we called into Santa Cruz in the afternoon.     ... t too bad (I was wet, but not soaked, and I spared the camera). The crabs are a riot, but the starfish are my favorite. I probably spent two hours climbing around on the rocks looking for tidal pools. It was wonderful.

Vast schools of sardines swirled around in tornado-formation, until a larger fish would swim through, causing their synchronous swim to alter dramatically.
