... are soooo many of them in this country. We stayed until the sun went down and as soon as the sun went down we walked towards his house and OMG they were everywhere coming from a distance flying over me it was the most beautiful natural experience the sky was pink, black and some light was coming through and all you could see were all these bats flying over us I have never seen anything like it before I will post a pic for sure. Just absolutely neat to see the fruit bats coming ...

... I managed 3 times to stand up & was chuffed to bits, until the 2 hours of sleep hit me & I was just lying flat on my surf board with no energy to paddle back to shore!! Back at camp Anna & I showered next door to each other in the outdoor showers. Was so funny to take a shower on the concrete, with the sun shining down, whilst chatting & singing to your friend through corrugated iron walls!! Happy ...

Once there we brought some produce and had a coffee then went and picked some strawberries. After saying our goodbye's and thanking Jeff, Keiren and the boys for a great weekend we headed back to the vans to get them ready to leave tomorrow. I washed the 4WD at the car wash on the way back. ... up during the night. Stronger gusts from 03:30 to 05:30hrs. Thank goodness for the anti flappers on the awning. Everything stayed in place.

A morning walk along the Breakwall to Town Beach onto Oxley Beach. Along the way we stopped at Signal Hill Lookout. We saw some whales again. But way to far out for a good photo. The next stop was at the Windmill Hill Lookout. Another great view of some of the local beaches.

Balconies to laze about on overlooking their own private lake and waterway. Fully self contained kitchen equipped with dishwasher, coffee machine and every other necessary electrical device known to man. This place made the Crown plaza look sloppy!
