    ... way to the Hwy 17 bridge at 8+ knots in the favorable breeze. Maggie did several stints at the helm and is getting the knack of handling the boat. She seems much more at ease doing this now and her earlier tentativeness has been replaced with confidence.

    ... it is pretty much a ghost town. Everything is empty. The mini putt, water slides, amusement parks, and boardwalks are all silent and shut down. Even half the hotels are closed. We decided to take advantage of the off season and do what we haven’t done on this entire trip. We got a hotel room for the night.     ... Tomorrow is a 'must do' run to Georgetown to (again) hook to shore power for the electric heater. This next cold front is touted to be the most severe so far this year and we can't survive comfortabyly without heat. While Mr. Heater is good, he is expensive to operate.
