... hotel shuttle service doesn't begin until 5:00 a.m. Told that we'd have to get a taxi rather infuriated Evelyn, who immediately said, "At the hotel's expense, of course!" This sorta blew the clerk's mind (but she retained her friendly composure) and she replied that she'd have to check with her manager but that she'd have an answer for us when we returned from Clearwater later in the evening.
Tampa and if we can keep on cooling down along the way we will be happy. The heat in Tampa this year came in early and
summer hit us before we could get the beast packed up to leave. We will post our blog as time and WIFI
connection permits. We hope all our

... had chosen to have a lie in and then spend some time in the hammock which is hanging in our garden. The weather has been so good today it would be silly not to take advantage.
We had lunch when I returned from golf and we spent the afternoon on the beach. I went for a swim despite warnings that rays were in the water. Pleased to say I got away with it!
Dinner tonight was at Johns Pass about a twenty minute walk away.
Ok. We've spent several days running up and down I 75 between Anna Maria and Venice. We have looked at a development called The Inlets in Nokomis, Plantation (large golf course area east side of Venice) and a new build area near Plantation called Island Walk. We are still comfortable with the Venice area. There are some marked differences between these areas and we are trying to talk out the pros and cons of each.
