    ... flew gliders from and took in the great views of the area. For lunch we found a NC style BBQ joint across from our hotel to check that off of our list of things to do.     Driving. Six hours, non-stop. Arrive at the hostel, Adventure Bound, barely after noon. Office is closed. Walk around the building, car goes up the drive, parking as I finish my round. Forms filled, money exchanged. No personal checks nor cards, credit or debit. Little sketchy. Now have locked doors, moved chair in front of main area door. Slightly paranoid?     ... jerry rig a boat battery into my car i thought. All i want is to pry these two old guys off my car and jump the battery as i had originally planned. Worse case i would call AAA. Finally John and Kenneth allowed me to jump the car. And guess what it worked. So much for old mechanics, I am the nuts.
