      ... flashing lights drew attention to these signs. We did see deer but truly, the promised bears in the brochure are still sleeping. The deer were scrounging for fresh growth under the snow.       ... with all the gear that had accompanied us for thousands of miles for the last time. We put on our more than overwhelmingly stinky bike shoes for one last time. I put on neon for hopefully one last time, unless I find something really cute to wear in real life. I am sure that these neon bike shirts are going to Goodwill.
