... hatte es in sich, wobei wir uns des Öfteren mal gegenseitig helfen musste. Ein paar Hindernisse zur Auswahl: Berliner Mauer, Arktischer Erzfeind, Schlammkuss, Zitteraal, Mt. Everest usw. Zahllose Fluss Durchquerungen und Schlamm, unfassbar viel Schlamm. Dass Event fand über das gesamte WE statt und wurde in Wellen gestartet. Von Samstag bis Sonntag wurde das Feld also ordentlich umgepflügt, womit bei unserer Startzeit nachmittags um 1 am Sonntag ...
Dag 1 i Sydney
... gillar att dricka och var de bästa barerna låg mm. Värmen tog fint och med över 25 grader i solen i 3-4h vandring har vi nu lyckats få lite färg och tröttat ut våra kroppar till max. Äntligen ät vi nu tillbaka vid vårt hostel och en efterlängtad säng som har fått sällsap av två utmattade tjejer.
Sydney är supermysigt det lilla vi har sett och jag tvekar inte en sekund på att vi inte kommer trivas ...
"Vakantie" / Orientation
... gezellig aangezien ik het met de meeste mensen goed kon vinden :)!
Dit was min of meer de Kick off van mijn orientation, daarna kregen we op woensdag meer informatie over de universiteit en andere instanties die voor ons van belang zijn. Hier kreeg ik ook inloggegevens en heb 's avonds direct mijn rooster opgezocht en ik ben ontzettend blij!! Heb namelijk alleen op maandag en vrijdag les, dit komt doordat tutorials hier minder ...
G'day Sydney
... ride into the centre, followed by some left, right, lefts to the hotel and we arrived....then the fun began. Amy was knackered and had been asleep in the buggy from the airport so we just popped her in pyjamas and snuggled her into bed. At 4 in the morning however she was decidedly less tired as her body was telling her it was 6 a.m. A reasonable time to get up! After 2 hours of plugging her into the iPad for 'Finding Nemo' and then some general wriggling and kicking ...
Unplanned Tour of the Hospital
... Susan stuck around for a long time, bless her, and was waiting for the ENT, but they didn't end up coming till almost 9 at night. She (the ENT) looked at my throat and said that it wasn't the abscess and that she couldn't see any puss, just for whatever reason my left tonsil was a lot bigger than my right but that the antibiotics should take care of it. So they didn't need to cut anything open and drain anything, which I was OK with.
So I got to go home the next day and ...
