From the Florida panhandle, we began our jaunt along the Gulf coast, stopping for a night in Mobile, AL. Now to be honest, we hadn't really been planning on this stop originally. That arctic freeze in Florida ended up changing our route and once again, we were very grateful for the serendipity that allowed us to discover the USS Alabama memorial park. ... two sides, I had potato and gravy and coleslaw. Way too much food, I was fine only to snack on a pork and beans can. We dropped into the CVS and bought some chewing gum for after breakfast when they have taken your bags, you breath gets a bit manky because you have already cleaned your teeth and just eaten breakfast thereafter.
