... history to visit Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum in search of the burial site of one of Patty's ancestors. We had a section and lot number. We did not have a map. That proved to be a problem. We drove around and around and around without ever seeing any section markers. We found Orville and Wilbur's graves, but not the one we were looking for. Maybe we should have done a little more research :0). We may try again tomorrow.

... 8230;.This thought is prettier in Spanish, but for most of my readers, I must translate: LIKE A PROMISE: This morning I noticed ONE leaf turning red on one of the beautiful maple trees next to our motor home. Just one! Our trek to the northeast was instigated by the promise of color and fall grandeur that awaits us later this month, and it is beginning!

Pretty quiet night! The tree frogs went until about 3am and then quieted down. The hiway sound is kind of like white noise...constant and fairly consistent. There is no construction and no reason for using Jake Brakes, so just the constant hum of engines and wheels on pavement. Today was a day of 'Wright's' or too many Wrights can be wrong...We left after what thought was rush hour in Dayton and went to Wright-Dunbar Interpretive ...
... They also have 'Hay Rides' which consist of sitting in a big wooden trailer behind a small tractor and being pulled around the park... And, tonight we discovered that there are fireflies all over the place. This is a big thing for us..we don't have fireflies out west in Alberta. It's too hot and dry. They seem to love hot weather and damp conditions. It's 35c and we are beside several ponds, rivers and swamps. It's so lush and green ...
... present. It was surprising to see so many British Aircraft, including a rare Bristol Beaufighter. There was also a missile silo-like building housing quite a few rockets. Side exhibits included the Aviation Hall of Fame and a chance to fly a space shuttle simulator (which couldn’t be resisted)!
The afternoon saw us at Carillon Historical Park, touring the many old buildings and exhibits in the 65 acre setting ...
