Waiting out the weather in Taupo
... bees and honey and pollen and beeswax there. Plus of course there is lots of honey based products to buy. It was a good place to stop to get out of the rain for a little while and dry off.
They also had delicious ice cream there. I of course had a honey-flavoured ice cream.
I had also been trying to wait out the rain at the Honey Hive and I headed back to Taupo when it seemed to lighten up a bit. But only ...

Nach dem Geysir und den beeindruckenden Thermenpark konnten wir auch noch die Huka Falls sehen. Um 15.30 in Taupo angekommen..in einen vierer Dorm eingescheckt..Bett ist O.K. Platz gewöhnungsbedürftig. ich habe im Bus das Tongariro Alpine crossing gebucht..Martin hat in der Jugendherberge gebucht…60 Dollar Unterschied. So werden wir morgen also nicht zusammen die Überquerung machen. ...
