... as does the big, white sign up in the Hills.  I know who walked here, who worked here, who created here. That's enough for me... I enjoyed the Stars on the sidewalks, the hand prints in the cement outside the Chinese Theatre (where I not only watched a movie, but marveled at the ridiculousness of a Chinese building inside and out in the middle of America). ... I-10 but stay in the exit lane for 3kms, not get right back on the I-10, now off it again ..... Hey, you haven't really been to LA if you haven't been in Freeway gridlock. By the time we got back to the hotel we never wanted to see the inside of a car again, so we had a night in, got a head start of the packing organisation. Loose plans for tomorrow, they may change.... but definitely dinner plans with friends! Tomorrow is our last full ...

... to the other towns nearby but it's just very built up, commercialised, bright and fun. We walked down the Walk of Fame and must have had "tourists" written across our foreheads as everyone we passed said "welcome to Hollywood ladies". We were acting very normal as far as we were concerned and didn't have our phones out taking a load of pictures like the Asians would and nor were we looking up at things in awe. Perhaps the fact that our noses were running along the floor reading ...

Checked out of our motel this morning and made our way downtown and had a great late brekky, then headed to the USS Midway Museum where we spent over 2 hours looking over the huge aircraft carrier! What a fantastic attraction it is - the audio tour was first class and we looked at most of the ship, including the engine room, galleys and much, much more! All this for $20 too! It was quite hot and claustrophobic in some parts below the main hangar deck, but out on the landing deck ...

... were trying to catch some fish that were trying there hardest to escape the big, sharp claws of the hungry bears.

I continued walking through the mammal exhibits and there was a couple of animals I had never seen. Some of those animals were an armadillo, chimpanzee, an African hedgehog, a gorilla and a jaguar. There was so many animals to see but I was getting pretty hungry so I decided to have some lunch at the coffee shop.
