    ... beach! It was a great beach with soft clean sand and the water was great because it was fresh water, not salt water like the ocean...and very clear and a pretty color, too! After the beach we stopped for some ice cream at the camp store, and since we just couldn't get enough of this wonderful place, we went for a hike along the skyline trail, which was up these long wooden stairs and led to a long boardwalk along the edge of the dunes. Great views from up there, too. ...

    ... Lakes! During today's drive I was entertained by my new game - interstate highway bingo! Tonight is our first time without water hookup at our campsite so we had to fill up our fresh water tank for two nights we won't have water or electric hookup....going to really rough it! Can't wait to explore the Ludington state park tomorrow, it seems beautiful with large sand dunes and lots of bike ...

    We arrived at Kampvilla RV Park on Tuesday the 23rd. On the drive down today we went through Travers City. As we drove through the city we saw some of the prettiest old mansions along the shore of Lake Michigan. They had to be built just after the turn of the century. Beautiful old homes with ornate decorations on the houses. The RV park we are staying at looks like a golf course fairway... and very quite. We went to Sleeping Bear ...
