... stopping by the FroYo shop where Saffy managed to rack up a bill of $10. We spent the rest of the afternoon lying on the beach, each of us managing to get mild sunburn, mine perhaps more than mild, I would in fact say severe. In the pharmacy whilst purchasing some face wash to tackle her acne, Suze's card was declined. Thus began the meltdown. Panicked, Suze realised she had taken down £500 or $1000 in a week. ... anyway, we are here, and staying in a really great hotel right in Darling Harbour, and we have a gorgeous king size room overlooking the harbour, and the hotel even gave us a bottle of fizz when we arrived. Also, at this point we must apologise for taking a while to start this....but we managed to find the only hotel in the world that doesn't have free wi-fi! (and we refused to pay $5 an hour!!)

... I'd brought with me (because I'm sick of hotels which only provide a cup and saucer) had disappeared. A call to reception shed no light on the matter, but we resolved to deal with it the next day (along with the fact that the cooker, hob and dishwasher don't work!) and I was still able to have a tea as this hotel does provide mugs. I then did yesterday's blog but finally took myself off to bed after I started using my iPad as a pillow. This travelling lark is exhausting! ...
