Bend to Bandon!

... br> After lunch, we drove into Bend and walked by the Deschutes River where there are a lot of shops and restaurants. Tried some local Bend craft beer. There are 24 breweries and growing in Bend and Bend boasts that it has more breweries per capita than any other city in Oregon. Pretty tasty although Dick says that with all the craft beer he's tried so far, he'll stick to Miller Lite or some other tried and true traditional brew.

And, dinner - WOW!!! They served crab ...

... private places. Only this cave isn't so quiet since the land owners charge $20 a pop to go down into the cave to witness the spectacle and smells of cave dwelling pinnipeds. Just north of the cave, at the base of a 200 foot cliff a few outcast sea lions have found a good rock on which to sun themselves and rest. We found the spot and watched them bothering each other. A woman who was sitting Indian-style on the pile-ons told us a whale was nearby. ...

... think she saw quite a bit of places, and was pretty adventurous. Ron and Kyu (pronounced Cue) Willis, were a very nice couple from south of San Francisco, California. Sue Baldwin was another lady traveling alone from Florida. The last members from the trip were Gun****r Chunhapanich and her friend Sudarat Jeamwongsa. I believe they were both originally from Thailand, but now live in Illinois. I hope I have not left anyone out of this list. ...
