Today we woke up, on Molly's birthday!!!!!!!! It was 37 degrees out! We are dropping Erin off at her camp sometime this morning. Last night we pulled into a KOA with the nicest INDOOR swimming pool, a game room, a playground, and a HORSE PEN!!!!!!!! There were four horses in the pen. ...

... kids were again off on their own. They too were on horses most of the day. We hear they rode up Bear Creek a ways and then played in the water. Tough to get much of a ride report from them. We met up at a campground on Bear Creek around 4:30 for drinks/crackers and such. Here is the full download from Sophia:

... morning I went to see the Dubois Museum. Many Norwegians and Swedes came to this region which produced half a million ties (Danish: 'sveller') a year for railroad construction at the beginning of the 20th century. It was a hard life but much better than the existence they had had in their home countries.

... late, around 12:45 PM. There was no real rush to get to camp, the X being 4 easy miles South. We also took the time to make 2 breakfasts due to an excess of food (for once!). Kudos to corn cakes and cheesy grits. I'd never had cheesy grits before. Not bad at all.

Outside of an 80 foot climb when crossing the river right near camp, the entire hike was downhill. Superb. We hiked it very quickly, getting ...
