    ... we had to be up and at 'em for our white water rafting trip in Millinocket. We were going down the Upper Penobscot River which boasts one of the top 3 hardest Class V rapids in the country (Cribworks). We were pretty positive we were in over our heads. We got on the road a little late, and due to terrible road conditions, had trouble ever reaching speeds of 10 mph in some parts.     ... she looked at her daughter and said, "you might need to drive home!" I laughed out loud and let her believe I was laughing with her. The dinner was actually fabulous. The owner used to own a restaurant in NYC before moving here (whhaaaaat?) so everything was prepared and decorated meticulously. Mark and I both got combo platters of chicken and steak, both preferring the steak, and ordered a bottle of sake. Cheers to a new adventure!

    ... hide his, this guy though kept flapping it about and that made it ***********centrate on what he was saying, not just that his voice was a slight bit drab. He shown us lots of old stuff though. We were actually allowed in the room where they signed the declaration. Quite lucky to have been there, this was arguably the most important event in American history and I was in the room.
