... behind us. They were really nice and we chatted as we waited. They were on Holiday as well. We get to the entrance (finally) and have our bags checked. We have to find a spot to park it until midnight. It is just1:30. We were prepared though with books, water, snacks, camera, money, and beach towels. There was a festival atmosphere. This fountain is registered and protected because of its significance of design. On the day we were fountain hunting it was covered and hidden behind a wall due to construction of a new convention centre at Darling Harbour, so I took a photo of the wall. It's one of my favourite fountains in Sydney and I didn't want to leave it off the list.

... stadiums and buildings. Used rest of coins at lunch and for a bottle of water. Travelex will only exchange back folding money. Despite Cairns being so expensive, we are under budget for daily expenses in Australia. Enjoyed the Farewell Dinner then early to bed for a 7:10 am flight to New Zealand.
