... to our work friends. Blogging and facebook and checking out the cruise details of Robyn and Jonathan's trans pacific cruise from Hawaii to Australia on the Holland American liner MS Noordam. They are on deck five in room 5149 with a lovely large private balcony.

A swim with the boogie board, fly the kite, walk to deck B to find another cache.

Its drink o'clock already. How many dolpins, whales, pelicans can we see today.

Even on our rest day, we couldn't avoid the hills or the nighttime finish? Anyway, Steve had his photo by the first tee, so he was happy. Ange less so, especially given the Friday rush-hour traffic. It wasn't pleasant but a bakery and market stop back in Monterey meant a happy end to a not so restful ...

        ... Thank you, Tricky!”

Within a week, I’m working at The Aerospace Corporation and living in an apartment in Redondo Beach, a mile from Tricky. I ride my bike two miles to work, to save on gas. A month later, Mooch and her boyfriend are my first weekend visitors.

I can’t believe how much money it cost to entertain guests, I think. Not only do I have to pay for gas ...

        Day 21 back to Pinto

We woke up and it was raining, not like a passing cloud kind of thing like yesterday, but gloomy foggy skies as far as you could see. We had been debating whether to spend another day in San Fran and use up the rest of our passes which included riding the trolley cars and entrance to a few museums. Plus, I really wanted to see the Japanese tea garden and explore Golden Gate Park. ...
