What a miserable place!
It's hot as hell, the water in the pool looks like someone poured milk into it, and there is nothing to do in the area.
This is our own fault. We completely spaced about the holiday weekend and this was the ONLY place we could find available anywhere near where we want to go next.
Boo for us.
We completely understand why this place is for ...
It was incredible to be grubby travellers bouncing along in our oversized kitchen appliance camping at Walmart and then to be amongst a family with home cooked meals in woodland lake paradise. Thanks also to Dale and Cathy for the ride in the chopper (Robbie 66 beaut machine), for another lovely meal and a blast on a stupidly powerful jetski (I’m just starting to get some colour back in my knuckles). Nancy had a delicious grilled chicken BLT sandwich with hash ...
... who love you the most. I would've really wanted to stay and end the mission right here and now, but like in the excerpt from Warrior of the Light, the "Voice" is calling me to continue on. My next stop is Raliegh, NC, I'll be able to access Rt. 40 from here in order to make my way to Tennesse. I'm excited. I hope you are too. Continue to travel along...I'll be posting pictures of Raleigh very soon...
For now Peace & Prosperity to All!
