To call the 110 miles spent riding around MidOhio's 14 corners (with the motorcycle chicane prior to the Keyhole) enlightening would be an understatement. This was a day spent learning the fundamentals of working with the bike to get closer to the full potential of bike, rider, tires and track.

Natalie returns from a camp held at Ohio Weslyn tonight. Students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades from the six counties surrounding Columbus were invited to apply to attend based on Terra Nova scores. They had to fill out a questionnaire and write an essay. Parents also filled out a questionnaire. ...

This morning we woke up later than we planned and finished up packing odds and ends. We said our farewells to Bella and seriously considered puppy-napping her and stealing her off to Canada. With heavy hearts we got into the car around 11 and started our journey up north with multiple considerations of turning around and getting her. The drive was uneventful, we drove through Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and ended in Ohio were we slept in out car. ...
