Today was Thanksgiving and only two more sleeps to go. There were cycling groups everywhere but the number one activity was happening out in the ocean, with wetsuits. This is surfing heartland and after a few miles of cycling along the beachfront, we were in Huntingdon Beach, where Californian surfing purportedly began. The fireworks show was the next and second to last thing for the day and it was spectacular, lasting for at least 15 minutes over the Disney castle with all colours, shapes and sizes of fireworks in time to the music. We meet Boogs, the kids and Uncle and Aunty at Sleeping Beauty castle and get to the first order of business - get me some ears. The kids happily come along to help me choose ultimately a pair of sparkly Minnie ears. The kids spot Pluto outside and Hinesh goes with them while I get the adults.
