Today was Thanksgiving and only two more sleeps to go. There were cycling groups everywhere but the number one activity was happening out in the ocean, with wetsuits. This is surfing heartland and after a few miles of cycling along the beachfront, we were in Huntingdon Beach, where Californian surfing purportedly began. Hiring some form of board was sorely tempting but we really didn't want another late finish. We decided to stop here for a bit of brunch in quite a smart cafe but ...
We got to Disney early, for the 9am Magic Morning.. Was good in a way because we were out and about but bad because:
a) we had not eaten breakfast because we wanted a pretzel...only no one sold them in the stands about until 11am
b) half the park was shut still

They cycled there in pretty good time so we went into a hotel to ring for a cab to go to urgent care docs, ...
... 3pm we headed over to Disneyland, the original theme park created by Walt Disney. The first ride we went on was the steam train that circumnavigates the park. It was a good way to see what was where, and gave us an idea of the size of the park, which isn't as big as I had imagined as a kid. After that we wandered around the park, looking in the many shops, hoping on rides as ...
