Today I got a late start because the 3 hour time difference made my teacher meeting at 11:15. We decided to ride to a town called Hillsboro and get a hotel so I can do homework tomorrow and take a day off. It was about a 60 mile ride and it wouldn't have been fun to go far anyway. ... 12thand Passover, Sunday evening, in Blantyre. From there, we will probably take the bus 250 miles north to the capital of Lilongwe, where we will keep the Night Much To Be Observed and the first Holy Day.
Tomorrow we leave for the United Kingdom, primarily to attend the funeral of John Ross Schroeder, long-time writer and minister. He has written extensively for our church's publications.
We have a layover in Charlotte, NC and will visit for a few hours with Scott and Gayle Hoefker. Will discuss matters of mutual interest in the field of helping counselling education for our ministry.
This is my last blog entry for the 6 week trip. So busy, and saw so many neat places, met some great people, and spent time with family that is very precious! So, what happened on our last drive home?
