      ... completely disgusting and wet from this rain. Gioia was really upset as she planned on arriving and spending time in sunny LA coming from rainy London. I secretly appreciated and enjoyed the rain and little breeze a little as it had been so hot the passed week. To think of walking that high as the peak of a mountain and then relating it to this, Cradle Mountain Summit was about 1500ft and then to be over 3 times the height of that is mind boggling. We spent 3 hours walking around the ridge and taking the risk to the edge for the photo opportunities. We did also take one of the free shuttle buses to view points further around.
