... separate Lake Michigan from the town's lake - very pretty! The sky was mostly cloudy but you could tell if the sun had been out, the water & trees would have been brilliant in color. By late afternoon, we were in our motel room relaxing (Lakewood Motel - super basic room & hard beds!). Janell & Rich arrived and we visited the rest of the day and eve. Monday was spent visiting with Janell and Rich, sitting and sunning ourselves on the beach of ...

Severe thunderstorm on the way...so we booked!

Nice motel - glad it's brick because there is a MAJOR storm coming through this area tonight!

Got an alarm on my iPad that there was smoke in my condo, so spent the better part of the afternoon trying to get in touch with neighbors every time we stopped, Using on of the other rider's cell phones! Not fun!

    Homeward-bound tomorrow!

... decision… they only had 280 kids at their Halloween party. This is when Margot tells me that I am having fun and I try so hard to believe it. The campground has laundry facilities, so that was a bonus… we cringe at the thought of private campgrounds. Tomorrow we are off to Mystery State Park in MN for a 2 night stay. Way too much fun at Arrowhead….

Met a real nice couple from Grand Rapids-she worked in construction and he sold flowers. They liked our motor home and asked to see the inside.
