With a modest 252 miles on the agenda today, everybody seemed to be a bit slow getting off this morning, including me, but I blame the beer from the night before!

We start our ride along the Shenandoah Parkway - the Blue Ridge Skyline Drive - its a ridge at 2500 to 3000 foot high running for about 100 miles but the speed limit is a measely …

... few days so easier. At the boarder we were the second bus in line but once they finished the first bus they had coffee break then changed over duty. People on bus were complaining it was hot. Is beautiful 24degrees. We waited an hour to get processed. They look at your passport, look at you and off you go. Sometimes they ask how long you been here but not always. Back in New York State and heading to Gettysburg. Scenery nice, very green ...

Sure all the products are overpriced but it is a very cool place to go! It was our last Hurrah on this crazy adventure. Chocolate World is a huge store with a bunch of different activities. I am actually glad we took the kids swimming and ate a huge lunch before going. It would be easy to just eat until we burst of we hadn't done that. They have ...

... again! One of the things the girls were most excited about were the roller coasters. Due to their height they could not go on all 13 of the coasters - which is fine with me because some of them are crazy! We went on one that requires them each to haw a grown up siting with them, but how bad could the "Wild Mouse" be right? We had watched the video on their website and it didn't look too terrible. Let me just say that if I could ...

Postvisit: A sunrise or a sunset?

... I'm going to explore and photograph this city properly. I actually have visited this city many times--sometimes wandering along the river during a long bus layover... sometimes coming with the family... sometimes looking for work or running errands. Now I'm here to strictly explore the city, nothing more, nothing less.

The first thing that strikes me about downtown is the ecclectic mix of architecture. It seems downtown Harrisburg has never had a full makeover, rather ...
