The drone of the fan in the bathroom and the light which refused to go off died sometime in the early hours. Unmourned.

Waking at the Mardi Gras one has that sinking feeling about the inevitability of the breakfast, or rather lack of it. On walking into the breakfast room and paying my $7.50 (agreed, not a lot) I walked round and there was even less than usual.

... of us were blind folded and put it either of those hotels or ours we could tell you which one it is by the smell. Our hotel casino smells very much of smoke and it burns the eyes so we haven't gambled here yet. We are about $5 down after about an hour of gambling in total which is pretty good.
