Left at 0700 and rode 500 feet for breakfast because the sky looked like it was going to open up.
Did the Tunnel of Trees, then stopped for custard at Bop-In in Bay View, Michigan.

Stopped for lunch in at a bowling alley/restaurant called Tucker's in a cute little town called Northport, Michigan.

We rode by the lake almost all day today. Just really gorgeous scenery.

6-20-14 – Friday

Austin & Cory slept soundly until our wake up call around 9 AM. A quick breakfast and we all began packing up to move up the road. The boys did a great job of folding up the tent and stashing belongings out of the way. We hit the road about 11AM. ... decision… they only had 280 kids at their Halloween party. This is when Margot tells me that I am having fun and I try so hard to believe it. The campground has laundry facilities, so that was a bonus… we cringe at the thought of private campgrounds. Tomorrow we are off to Mystery State Park in MN for a 2 night stay. Way too much fun at Arrowhead….

... was crazy-pedal to the metal-everyone on any craft. Next day, quick exodus from campgrounds on everyones part....back to reality. Crazy time but glad we saw it all.

Met a real nice couple from Grand Rapids-she worked in construction and he sold flowers. They liked our motor home and asked to see the inside.

... The Navajo Turquoise is what really stands out. (Mark can't help but gush...). The roads are a bit rough in Michigan, only so many bumps one can take, but luckily the Canadian roads are much better and we finish the day smoothly. Michigan is pretty but nothing you wouldn't see in New England. Sara wouldn't mind seeing Niagra Falls from the Canadian side since its supposedly the better view.
