      ... slipped down the hill on grass that was wet from the falls. Much to the amusement of everyone else that'd taken the sensible, but long way. Of course Beth was the only one that didn't slip - and the shortcut was her suggestion too!

      When we woke up we walked down to look at the falls and went on a boat ride called maid of the mist. I could not take many photos when we were nearly under the falls as there was so much water…We got on the boat and went right up to horseshoe falls but I could not take many photos as there was so much water….       ... be pretty awesome, but I was not prepared for this! Just the sheer amount of water going over the edge is incredible. We walked out onto the look out that the Americans have built on their side for a better view. Basically it's like half a bridge and sticks out over the gorge. It was pretty windy and cold, but the view was amazing.
