Well we've finally met...seems a little strange to be saying that about people that will be living in our house for the year, but it's true.
Paul, Melanie, Luke and Julian...they're great! Such a big relief to meet them, and apart from a few (beanie for toque!) words were doing well!
Today marks 1 week till departure....my next post will be from the Gold Coast!!!!
... clothes I ended up buying 7 jumpers and 6 polo shirts for about £250, which seemed a bargain! I realised that this wouldn't really fit on my bike so thought I would send them home - but discovered that this would cost $200. So I ended up having to send them to a hotel in Boston for $17 so I can take them back with me on the plane. and out of season, the staple Maid of the Mist Boat tour wasn't
running. Incentive to go back. Instead we opted for a walk behind the
falls... We donned our free yellow poncho's and with our backpacks on

... Did end up getting a cheap umbrella from a convenience store though after losing (or it being stolen) my umbrella in Ottawa. My bus to Montreal wasn't until midnight but it was relatively safe waiting at the Terminal, apart from the weirdos/homeless people. Tried to sleep in a cramped position the 6 hours to Montreal, it is very difficult to sleep comfortably even with 2 seats to yourself.
