    Our first thought of Niagara was 1 of disappointment. How is it possible that a motel is cheaper than a non serviced campsite?? How does that make any sense?? Good thing for us I suppose in that we saved by money by not staying in the van? Our own bathroom is always nice.

    The students in one of my classes were terrible, so I gave them marks they deserved. This didn't go unnoticed and before long, they were making things up about me to the principal. One of my students even apologized to me, saying she did it because she was mad at me for having some of her participation marks taken away.

    ... ones. We walked to the Horseshoe Falls and then started to walk back to the hotel. We realised we were quite some distance away from it and had dinner instead before going back to the falls to see the light show. They project coloured lights on to the falls to light up the water. Dinner was at Jimmy Buffet's Margueritaville - good music to listen to (our era - that is).

    The Maid of the Mist is the boat company that leaves from the American side and they wear blue ponchos. Our company was called Hornblower Niagara Cruises and we all wore red.
